moseley folk festival

here's a thing i just snarfed from youtube... rather dodgy footage taken at moseley folk festival last summer.

it's the incredible string band doing their last ever gig, playing the hedgehog song. it was a moment... let me know if you were there... can't wait for the next one... must ring the organisers, all sorts of rumours about who's going to headline. heard some really big names being bandied about. this film must have been taken on someone's mobile. it's dreadful quality... such are the vagaries of history...

i thought the ISB where legendary that night a moseley park,im just gald i was there....yes it's fairport this year ...going to get my ticket asap..it'll sell out!

I hear talk of Fairport Convention, Kate Rusby & Davey Graham. But don't tell everyone, it's a small park...

we thought the incredible string band that night were utterly, utterly, awful - i would say they sounded like a bunch of drunks in a bar during a lockin, but that would be being unkind to the musical abilities of the drunks.

it was so bad, we couldn't be bothered staying until the end, as it just got increasingly excruciating with each song...

steve x:

shame there's no footage of hayseed dixie's set.
